Lake Superior Tour Day 3

Last night it poured quite well. I found out at four in the morning that I left my rain fly and top vents open. After sopping up the water that came in the door and flipping the wet pillow over I was able to get a couple more hours of sleep.

We packed up and started heading our way to Canada.

We came across this lookout point.

When we were standing at this wall I decided to run back so they could get a pic of me standing on the cliff. If you ever go to visit this place take it from me... Don't Run Anywhere! I almost died.

Our first stop in Canada was this abandoned ski jump. If we weren't in a foreign country we would have hopped the fence and explored much further but we weren't sure what they would do if the authorities found us in there.

Another lookout that we stopped at. Yes, we "looked out" a lot on this trip.

Our first night in Canada we stayed at The Sleeping Giant. I know my first pic is a bit odd but I couldn't help but notice the pattern of the drain holes. I honestly don't know if the company did that on purpose or not but I got a chuckle out of it. Especially when the french girls came to use it.

I was in the bathroom stall doing my business when two french girls came in. One went in the stall next to me and the other tried to get in my stall. My first reaction was to clear my throat to let her know that the stall was occupied and that they were in the wrong bathroom. But then my mind started wondering, what if it is me who is in the wrong bathroom? I was sure that I was in the men's room but they were acting as if it was no big deal for them to be in there so I took precaution and waited till they left before coming out.

We had no cellphone service at the camp like most of Canada so we had to actually use a payphone. At least it accepted credit cards.

Random wildlife make their way through our camp.

I apologize for the quality of this photo but I really wasn't in a position to go running for my camera, this little guy decided to come visit us at camp.
